Alice was the first Pauline doll I ever saw on The Doll House on TVSN
She caught my attention because her story was always one of my childhood favourites
and this doll looked as though she had just stepped from the book.

After searching the internet I found a shop in South Australia
that not only had her available but would let me pay for her in instalments.
Three months later she joined the family!

Alice wears a lovely hand-smocked cotton apron with a beautiful lace-trimmed collar embellished with exquisite embroideries of pastel flowers, over a pretty blue and white print dress.

She holds the delightful white rabbit in her arms. Alice is 22 inches tall with a finely hand-painted porcelain head, arms and legs and a specially weighted cloth body.
